markhammonk What a good album this is. It's full of really well crafted songs with a blend of americana and rock.

Who is Free 05:07
awaiting futures mystic gate to open
the setting sun ends another day
There’s a saddened soul to whom I turn to
who’s out of touch with life and time as he answers a simple question
he sees no reason nor hears rhyme

Chorus And i'm unstable on shifting sand
 while drowning in changing seas
asking “who knows what I am”
 wondering
 who is trapped?
 and who ?
who is free? when life’s project is finally emptied of all meaning
and idle dreams leave lesser souls than mine as I struggle to find my freedom in cryptic words meaning often hide
s but within despair we are assaulted
yet our bodies yearn for an escape
 Chorus

about

Following the release of their streaming only eponymous debut album in the fall of 2019 Disparate Souls regrouped. Wanting to focus on an edgier sound that mixed the best bits from the debut album with more electric guitar driven arrangements to come up with something exciting and new. The album was mainly recorded at their Cedar Rose home studio. The finished album is one they are rightly proud of. Mixing elements from a vast array of musical influences to produce a sound that is both new and familiar. Delve into their world - it rarely makes sense, but it is magical.
